Lumino Health Centre makes it easier for plan members to find the tools and resources relevant to them. It offers plan members access to Canada’s largest network of providers, useful health content, and discounts and offers. By making it even more accessible, we’re making it easier for plan members to live healthier lives.
Lumino Health Centre replaces the current Wellness Centre effective August 31, 2020.
Features & benefits of Lumino Health Centre
- Regularly updated wellness and mental health content.
- Resources and solutions that members can access based on their unique needs. Read articles, watch videos, listen to podcasts and more.
- Access to Lumino Provider Search.
- Canada's largest network of providers with access to over 150,000 health professionals.
- Find and book psychologists, physiotherapists, naturopaths, dentists, and more.
- Information on cost for health-care providers in your area.
- A new section called Lumino Resources & Offers replaces Marketplace. This change only applies to Clients who have turned on the Marketplace feature.
- Plan members can browse exclusive discounts on health-care solutions. Categories include Vision & Hearing, Medical Products & Resources, Mental Wellness, and more!
- More than triple the offers! This section now includes a number of vendors previously only available through Luminohealth.ca. See “Additional Resources” section below for a full list of vendors. Look for these changes on both mysunlife.ca and the my Sun Life mobile app.
- Sun Life can support you and your Clients with enhanced reporting features. The Plan Sponsor reports will measure engagement levels and usage statistics for Lumino Health content on an aggregate level. Plan sponsors can use the reports to understand their plan member engagement, and their health interests.
How will this affect your Clients?
Starting August 31, 2020:
- Lumino Health Centre will replace the Wellness Centre page on mysunlife.ca.
- Marketplace will become Lumino Resources & Offers. Plan members will see an increase in vendors on both mysunlife.ca and the my Sun Life mobile app.
- Provider Search will become Lumino Provider Search.
- We’ll remove unused features such as the Health Risk Assessment tool, and replace them with engaging and dynamic content.
This update is available to anyone with access to mysunlife.ca. We want you to reach out to your Clients and tell them about this exciting change. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to contact Sun Life for more information.
Informing plan sponsors and plan members
We’ll share this news with plan sponsors in a Focus Update on July 30, 2020. We’ll let them know about our plan member communication that’s going out in September, 2020. This plan member communication honours all plan sponsor exclusions.
