Effective immediately, we have re-added PH&N Balanced Pension Trust to our DC and DB Core investment platform marketed lists. We had removed the Fund from the marketed lists in May 2017.

Why we’re making the change

At the time, we were consolidating the traditional balanced fund category on our platform. This was due to the growth of target date funds, in particular. However, PH&N has made several enhancements to this fund over time. The enhancements include increased diversification across asset classes, geography, and strategies. There is also better use of RBC Global Asset Management’s global investment capabilities.
