Talent Canada roundtable – a focus on small businesses and mental health

Sun Life recently sponsored a Talent Canada roundtable on small businesses and workplace mental health. The session – The Future of Mental Health Benefits for Business – focussed on pandemic impacts. It brought several perspectives together, including small business industry advocates, academics, journalists, and our own Sun Life representative, Lisa Villani, Regional Vice President, Group Benefits.

The discussions covered a lot of ground, and we want to share these roundtable insights with you.

Talent Canada highlighted the discussion in their October issue. The article summarizes key takeaways from the session and includes videos of the discussion. It’s available in English only.

There are solutions for small businesses – and the article highlights some key initiatives that we’re providing. Even better, many of these resources are free for you to use:

Our Mental Health Strategy Toolkit can help you build a workplace mental health strategy. It also includes mental health training for managers.
