The Explanation of Benefits (EOB) – what’s changing?

On December 5, 2021, the EOB became available on the my Sun Life mobile app. It’ll now be showing expense level details so you and your plan members will get even more information at your fingertips.

  • When your plan members submit multiple claims with one or more expense, they’ll see:    
    • the breakdown of each claim and,
    • what was paid to them per expense.

New Sun Life online account registration process - easier than ever before

We simplified the plan member journey by improving the online registration process:

Sponsor-provided emails

Plan members can use the email provided by you to register for our new online account.  

Easy to navigate and register

We made it easier for you and your plan members to register for mysunlife.ca. The new design makes it easy to navigate through the entire process.

Here’s what your plan members need to do to register:

  1. enter their email address and,
  2. follow the clear instructions guiding them through the next steps.

Verified.Me

Verified.Me is a service offered by SecureKey Technologies Inc. It’s an alternative way for plan members to register with Sun Life. It’s available on desktop and mobile devices. Once their identity has been verified, they can easily complete their registration. This service shares data securely. Learn more about Verified.Me and share it with your plan members.
