The service also includes access to a Critical Incident Response (CIR) service for an additional cost. This service is available upon request to our EAP Clients. It provides flexible support and psychological first aid to plan members for traumatic events that occur in the workplace.

The current hourly rate for this service is $235 plus applicable taxes. The price is subject to change. Ask your Clients to confirm the CIR rate with their service team if they need the service.

Why it’s a good idea for your Clients to add EAP to their benefits plans

According to the Mental Health index¹, employers who are familiar with an EAP and what it offers have a higher mental health score than those who don’t.

The survey also found the following:

• Among workers who wouldn’t use or don’t think they would use an EAP:
  • 34% don’t know what it covers
  • 23% are concerned about confidentiality
  • 21% don’t know how to access the service
