Effective immediately, the following change has been made to Sun Life Financial's Core investment platform. The MFS Global Equity Segregated Fund ("the Fund") has been re-opened and is now available to plan sponsors to add to their fund line-up.
The fund was previously closed to plan sponsors in December 2013 to manage the assets under management. Governance activities continued on the fund throughout its closure. MFS's Capacity Management Team recently reviewed the fund's capacity for new contributions and decided to re-open the strategy.
