We’re introducing new push notifications that improve the way your employees navigate and engage within our app. When users opt in, they’ll receive a clickable notification that gives them important up-to-date info regarding whether claims have been paid, processed and much more.

We have attached an example of a possible notification message:

This advancement will help your employees stay up-to-date on Sun Life-related services 24/7, even when they’re on the go! They’ll have the ability to enable push notifications. If plan members opt to receive the push notifications, they will receive timely updates on the status of their claim submission. If they don’t want to receive notifications, they can always disable them in their device settings.

Coverage card updates – a new landscape feature is available!

Using my Sun Life mobile app has never been so pleasant! It will be easier now to find coverage/travel and drug cards in the app. Your employees who have benefits and coverage cards will be able to see their coverage cards in landscape mode.1

  • This new feature will provide them with quick and easy access to their benefits and coverage card when they need it
