We can now confirm that all Clients, including Clients with Deferred Payment Drug Cards, will transition to ESC on March 1, 2023.
Contract Wording
If your contract or booklets include our prior Pharmacy Benefit Manager’s name, we’ll replace this with generic language. We’ll make this update at your next revision.
Plan member communication
Our communication campaign to your plan members will start February 8, 2023, and includes:
- Email to plan members
- Messaging on mysunlife.ca and the my Sun Life mobile app
Following the transition to ESC, we’ll send them a reminder email starting March 1, 2023.
Our campaign will share details of the transition and encourage plan members to use the drug card on the my Sun Life mobile app. Their updated digital drug card will include the ESC logo.
