Find Your Balance Contest

This contest will encourage the adoption of digital tools and services by promoting the use of mysunlife.ca and the my Sun Life mobile application. Plan members can enter from April 3 to April 28, 2023. If plan members don’t have an Access ID, they’ll need to register to enter the contest. Then, they simply sign in during the contest period. Each member can earn up to two entries: one by signing in to mysunlife.ca, and another by signing in to the my Sun Life mobile app.

The prize consists of one of ten $500 prepaid credit cards.

Plan members will receive confirmation of their entry via the secure site and/or the my Sun Life mobile app once they’ve signed in. They’ll receive a combination of the following promotions about the contest: 

  • A heads-up email sent before the starting period to notify them about the upcoming contest
  • An email sent at the beginning of the contest period announcing the start of the contest
  • A reminder email sent halfway through the contest period to encourage participation
  • Interstitial messages on the mysunlife.ca home page
  • Mobile yellow card message on the my Sun Life mobile app
  • Promotion of the contest via social media (Facebook and Instagram ads)

Sun Life’s digital tools make it easier for plan members to take charge of their plan, including submitting claims online or through the app.

Paper Claims Digitization

Submitting claims electronically is easy and convenient. On April 10, we’ll launch a Paper Claim Digitization campaign for one month. It will tell plan members about the advantages of a digital claim in place of paper.

Plan members who have recently submitted paper claims are encouraged to reap the stress-free benefits of online submissions. In many cases, we'll pay their claims in as little as 24 hours.

  • Mobile yellow card message on the my Sun Life mobile app
