- comparison of nearly 250 group benefits plan designs
- claims cost comparisons such as average repayment amounts, not just for a category of services/supplies (e.g. paramedical), but for a specific service/supply (e.g. chiropractor)
- detailed industry comparisons, down to SIC Tier 3 level (e.g. Tier 1 – Manufacturing, Tier 2 – Lumber, Wood Products and Tier 3 - Manufacturers of Kitchen Cabinets)
- geographic comparisons between provinces or territories

How can you access Plan InSite
No-fee version
Plan InSite’s detailed benefits summary, claims utilization and benchmarking capabilities are now available at no charge for your current Sun Life Group Benefits Clients. This applies to advisor firms that maintain a combined Sun Solutions and SunAdvantage Business-In-Force greater than $250,000.
We make Plan InSite available to all advisors and associates you designate within your firm.
Enhanced version
In addition to Plan InSite’s core capabilities, your firm has the option to upgrade Plan InSite with the My Custom Plan feature for an annual access fee of $1,000.
This powerful feature allows you to build a customized plan for either an existing or prospective Client and then benchmark it to Sun Life’s Group Benefits block. This will help you determine if the plan design is competitive for that Client’s size, industry and location.
There is no per-user license fee. We grant annual access for 12 months upon activation of the My Custom Plan feature. To purchase this upgrade, your firm must maintain a combined Sun Solutions and SunAdvantage Business-In-Force greater than $250,000.
