Tis the season for RRSPs! March 1, 2019 is the deadline for you to submit your plan's RRSP contributions for the 2018 tax year. You can submit your contributions online or by mail.
- Online: Contributions submitted by an electronic file upload must be received by 2 p.m. ET, March 1, 2019.
- Mail: Mailed RRSP contributions must be received by Sun Life Financial by the March 1, 2019 deadline. Contributions date stamped by Sun Life Financial after this date will be applied towards the 2019 tax year.
Plan members can access and download RRSP tax slips online by signing in to mysunlife.ca. Any plan member who has elected for digital delivery only will not receive printed tax slips in 2019.

In addition, Sun Life is reminding eligible plan members of the March 1, 2019 RRSP contribution deadline.
Ella, Sun Life's digital coach, will be educating and encouraging plan members to enrol and/or contribute to their RRSP before the March 1 deadline. Over the coming months, Ella will communicate about the benefits of an RRSP on the mysunlife.ca home page, the my Sun Life Mobile app, and through email communications.
Extended call centre hours
During this peak season, the Client Care Centre (CCC) will be open Saturday, February 16 and Saturday, February 23 from 9 am to 5 pm ET.
