Bryan Rowe

Bryan has almost 25 years’ experience in financial services and has worked within the organization for 20 years. Throughout his career, Bryan has held various roles in credit risk analytics, market risk, Asset Liability Management, and portfolio management. In Bryan’s role as Senior Managing Director, Global Portfolio Management at SLC Management, he oversees a team that develops and executes a variety of investment strategies, aiming to determine optimal asset mixes and introduce new asset classes to improve overall performance and profitability for Sun Life’s General Account. His team plays a key role in the day-to-day investment activities, investment planning, surplus portfolio management and allocation of non-marketable fixed income assets. Bryan also leads the International Investment Centre (IIC), who provide a variety of independent research and consulting services for Sun Life’s wealth, pension and insurance businesses worldwide. Additionally, Bryan sits on Sun Life’s Canadian Executive Leadership team.

Bryan is a CFA charterholder and holds a Masters in Business Administration (Finance). He is based at the firm’s Waterloo, Ontario office.
