While Online Counselling is available to everyone (over the age of 14 and residing in Canada), depending on your specific benefits plan, you may also have access to additional Sun Life mental health services.
These services are designed to complement each other, giving you flexible options for the support you need.
Sun Life Employee Assistance Program (EAP), by Dialogue
EAP offers up to four complimentary mental health sessions, per concern, for an unlimited number of concerns. You’ll have access to mental health therapists and specialists. You can continue with the same therapist after these sessions are finished by booking paid sessions using Online Counselling. You will use the same Dialogue account and process for both these services. Check your benefits plan for eligible coverage.
Sun Life Virtual Care, by Dialogue
Virtual Care includes 1 complimentary mental health session per concern, provided by Dialogue. In this session, you will speak to a Mental Health Specialist who will provide guidance towards the right next step for you. Once you use your free session, you can continue booking paid Online Counselling sessions, as needed. You will use the same account and process to access support for both these offerings. Check your benefits plan for eligible coverage.
Sun Life’s Stress Management and Well-Being program, powered by Dialogue
Stress Management and Well-Being program includes free, unlimited virtual access to mental health sessions until your acute or situational issue is resolved. The care team includes mental health therapists, physicians and nurses. Check your benefits plan for eligible coverage.
Mental Health Coach, by Kii Health
Mental Health Coach, by Kii Health, is a supportive first step in helping you understand your mental health needs. It starts with an online assessment to get a clear picture of your current mental health. You will then meet virtually with a 1-on-1 coach who will guide you to the most appropriate support based on your situation – such as online resources, public health programs and private therapy. This may include Online Counselling if recommended for you. Check your benefits plan for eligible coverage.
