Keri Bush

Keri Bush is Vice-President of Global Conduct Risk and Chief Compliance Officer for Sun Life Canada. She leads the Canadian Compliance Team, providing oversight, effective challenge, and regulatory advice to Sun Life's Canadian businesses. Keri is a member of Sun Life's Canadian Executive Team and the Senior Compliance Leadership Team for Sun Life’s global operations.

Keri joined Sun Life in December 2023. She brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles as a senior compliance executive at prominent financial institutions, including CI Financial, Scotiabank, and BMO. Keri also held a number of legal roles at BMO, with a focus on Securities and Employment litigation within BMO’s Wealth, Capital Markets and Corporate Areas. Keri began her career with the law firm Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg.

Keri is a past recipient of Lexpert's Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40 Awards. She also holds the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designation.

Beyond her professional achievements, Keri is dedicated to philanthropic causes. Keri served as the past Chair of St. Michael's Hospital Foundation's Malachy's Soiree, an event raising funds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Additionally, she is a Committee Member for St. Michael's Foundation's Angels Den, Canada's largest medical research competition.
