Change your banking information

If you bought insurance coverage or set up an investment account through your advisor

Contact your advisor directly to update your information. Do you need your advisor's phone number or email address? Go to Find an advisor and enter your advisor's last name.

You can also call the Customer Care Centre at 1-877-SUN-LIFE (1-877-786-5433), Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.

If you have insurance coverage or investments through your employer

You can update your banking or credit card information for your investment plans by calling the Customer Care Centre at 1-866-733-8612, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.

You can update your banking information for your group benefits plan online:

  1. Sign in to mysunlife.ca.
  2. Under Benefits, click on either Benefits centre or Coverage information in the list on the right.
  3. Choose Direct deposit and online claim statements from the Take me to drop-down menu.
  4. Under Banking information, click Update and enter your updated banking information.

If you bought insurance coverage or set up an investment account online or by phone

You can update your banking or credit card information by calling the Client Solutions Centre at 1-800-669-7921, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.

If you bought insurance coverage or set up an investment account through a Choices plan

You may be able to update your personal information online:

  1. Sign in to mysunlife.ca.
  2. Go to the drop-down menu at the very top right and click this icon 
  3. Choose Profile then Personal Information.
