I’m locked out of my Sun Life account. What do I do? 

To ensure your protection, we lock your account if you’ve tried to sign in a few times and it hasn’t worked. We’ll also lock your account if you haven’t signed in for a long time. To get back in, reset your password (make sure to have your account number handy). 

Been timed out? If you’ve been timed out of your account because you couldn’t properly verify yourself, you don’t need to reset your password. Just wait 10 minutes and try again.

How we protect your account with Two-Step Verification

Two-Step Verification adds an extra layer of security that will help prevent someone else from gaining access to your account. We verify your identity with a text or phone call when we consider it necessary. Check out the Two-Step Verification FAQs to learn more

What is the “Remember me” checkbox?

The checkbox saves your registered email address / access ID to your device using a cookie in your browser. To help keep your account information secure, we recommend you don’t use this feature if you share your device with other people.

We don’t let you sign in after too many unsuccessful attempts. We also lock you out if you haven’t visited our site for a long time. To sign in, you’ll need to reset your password.

When you check the box beside ‘Remember me’, you are saving your email address to your computer using a cookie. To keep your information private, don’t use this feature if you share your computer with someone else.
