Update beneficiary information

How was the plan purchased?

For pension and saving plans:

To see who your beneficiaries are:

  1. Sign in to my Sun Life.
  2. Under Investments, select My financial centre.
  3. Under Quick links, select Beneficiary info.

To change your beneficiaries:

  1. Sign in to my Sun Life.
  2. Under Investments, select My financial centre.
  3. Under Quick links, select Beneficiary info.
  4. Under Update Beneficiary info, download the Beneficiary designation form. Then follow the instructions on the page.

Remember to have your registered email address and password ready to enter into our automated telephone system.

For health benefit plans:

2. Complete the form and sign it.
3. Send the completed form to your plan administrator.

Contact your advisor directly. Do you need your advisor’s phone number or email address? Go to Find an advisor and enter your advisor's last name.

3. Send the completed form to Sun Life.
