Simona Salter is Senior-Vice President, Client Experience Office. In this role, Simona is responsible for our Client Digital platforms and the functions of Marketing, Client Strategy, Experience Design, and Data and Analytics.

Sun Life Canada’s Client Experience Office is focused on creating a unified, proactive, and personalized Client experience across all businesses and establishing a set of One Sun Client platforms across digital, marketing and data. 

Prior to joining Sun Life, Simona held the roles of Vice President, Client Experience (CX) & Client Engagement Transformation and Vice President, Platform Strategy, CX, and Loyalty at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). Before RBC, she held leadership positions at American Express, Chase Card Services, and Harlequin Enterprises. Simona is known for her strategic foresight, focus on outcomes, and ability to drive senior multi-stakeholder alignment in complex and disrupted contexts.

Simona sits on the Board of Directors of FlipGive and Up With Women, a national charity that helps recently homeless and at-risk individuals build a sustainable pathway out of poverty. She is also the Canadian Executive Sponsor of Sun Life’s DiverseAbility Network which helps create a more inclusive workplace environment for Employees.

Simona holds an Honours Business Administration degree from Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.
