Senior Vice-President, Client Experience Office, Sun Life Canada

Simona Salter is Senior-Vice President, Client Experience Office. In this role, Simona is responsible for our Client Digital platforms and the functions of Marketing, Experience Design, and Data and Analytics as well as the growth of Sun Life's direct-to-client sales channels and the acceleration of our rollover business.

Sun Life Canada’s Client Experience Office optimizes Client platforms and strategy to ensure a consistent experience across businesses. Ensuring Sun Life’s digital properties, marketing and digital media, and data and analytics capabilities create proactive and personalized Client engagement.

Prior to joining Sun Life, Simona held the roles of Vice President, Client Experience (CX) & Client Engagement Transformation and Vice President, Platform Strategy, CX, and Loyalty at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). Before RBC, she held leadership positions at American Express, Chase Card Services, and Harlequin Enterprises. Simona is known for her strategic foresight, focus on outcomes, and ability to drive senior multi-stakeholder alignment in complex and disrupted contexts.

Simona sits on the Board of Directors of FlipGive and Up With Women, a national charity that helps recently homeless and at-risk individuals build a sustainable pathway out of poverty.

Simona holds an Honours Business Administration degree from Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.
