Insights from 2025 – Providing you with Best in Health solutions
Our 2025 summary is here! Providing you with Best in Health solutions features actions we took in key areas of health to improve employee health outcomes. Our goal is to empower you by providing the tools needed to create healthier, more resilient workforces. Highlights from the report include:
- Focus on women’s health – We launched a women’s health toolkit to help you address the unique health needs of women in your workplace. The toolkit provides research, best practices, and actionable solutions targeting issues such as reproductive health, mental health, menopause, and cardiovascular risks.
- Focus on mental health – We enhanced our Mental health training for people leaders, with refreshed video content. We also updated our manager reference guide, which complements the training videos for managers.
- Focus on the impact of climate and extreme weather – our groundbreaking study with Environics Research revealed a significant impact on human health. We saw that more than 50% of employees say their physical and mental health has been affected by climate and extreme weather1.
- Focus on health supports – we enhanced our Lumino Health Virtual Care, by Dialogue,2 offering with enhanced EAP supports and a new Medical Second Opinion, by Dialogue, service.

We’re committed to remaining at the forefront of workplace health innovation and research.
In 2026, mental health will continue to be a focus with new initiatives to support this key health issue. We’re also expanding our support for women’s health, particularly around menopause, through enhancements to our Lumino Health Virtual Care platform.
We’ll also see enhanced access and service for both plan sponsors and plan members through improved reporting capabilities and analysis, and an optimized experience on mysunlife.ca.
