Sun Life awarded Canada Order of Excellence for Mental Health at Work®

Excellence Canada has awarded Sun Life its top-level certification for workplace mental health. We’re just the fourth organization in Canada to receive the Canada Order of Excellence for Mental Health at Work.

The award reflects our commitment to creating a mentally safe and healthy workplace. More of our employees are accessing mental health supports. And more than 90% of our employees say their manager effectively supports their well-being. In addition, we’ve seen a decline in our rate of long-term disability related to mental health.

More importantly, the innovative mental health supports we provide for our own employees are available to Clients too.
