Encouraging you to use “View or update member information” feature for non-financial changes

As we’ve previously communicated, this year we’ll continue to reach out to you to remind about digital tools and solutions that are available on the Plan Sponsor Services website. Leveraging digital capabilities will help streamline communication, iAmprove efficiency of the plan administration and ensure everything is processed even more securely with no waiting time.

Starting mid April and up to June 1, when you reach out to the Operations team requesting non-financial changes to your plan members’ information (ex. update a termination date, member details, payroll division) you will be nudged to use “View or update member information” feature to make real time updates online. These prompts will be sent through the new outbound feature in the Request Centre. Sun Life will continue to process these types of requests until June 1. As of this date, you will need to use the dedicated online feature to make these updates.

Need to send many updates at one time? Not a problem, we have online solutions to allow you to load lists. We’re happy to connect with you and ensure you have access to a digital solution that works best for you.
