Encouraging Clients to embrace digital solutions throughout 2025

This year we’ll continue to reach out to Clients to remind them about digital tools and solutions that are available to them on the plan sponsor services website. Leveraging digital capabilities will help streamline communication, improve efficiency of plan administration and ensure everything is processed even more securely.
Here are some of the digital capabilities that we’ll cover in our targeted communications throughout 2025:
- Member update feature (Clients can update information related to member terminations and contact information changes in real time online).
- Enrol a member online.
- Request Centre (submit a day-to-day question for the administration of the plan or submit a form, for example, a spousal enrolment form).
- Update digital payment methods (pre-authorised withdrawal, electronic funds transfer, wire).
- Updates that members can do on mysunlife.ca instead of filling in paper forms (update beneficiary, investment selection and more).
- Digitization of the contribution process for Clients with fully automated files. This will allow sponsors to confirm totals and make adjustments on the site (available in the second half of 2025).
