Sun Life's GRS 2022 member engagement initiatives

We keep your employees informed and engaged when it comes to saving and planning for their future. This page allows you to see these initiatives all in one spot.

You’ll only be included in the campaigns that make sense based on your plan design. For example, if your plan doesn’t offer a TFSA or RRSP, we wouldn’t include your plan in these initiatives.

If you have questions, please contact your Sun Life GRS representative.

Financial Wellness Webinars

Ongoing

Full schedule

These are hosted by Sun Life. We design them to boost plan members’ financial literacy and help them achieve financial wellness. Feel free to share the link with your employees.

Member statements

Annual statements available at the start of each year

Statements give members their plan information and performance in an easy, accessible format. Paperless statements are available and we encourage members to select this option. Frequency of statements depends on the plan setup.

RRSP campaign

Early December, 2021 to early March, 2022

We engage members to encourage them to enrol in and/or contribute to their Sun Life Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP). An RRSP is one of the best ways for a member to cut their tax bill and save for retirement.

Digital tax slips

December, 2021 to end of April, 2022

We connect members with their digital tax slips in advance of key tax deadlines.

TFSA campaign

Late May to late June, 2022

We educate members on the benefits of the Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA). It’s a powerful, flexible savings tool that allows Canadians to save for short- or long-term goals.

Financial Literacy Month campaign

November, 2022

Throughout the month, we reach out to members. We want to strengthen their financial literacy and empower them to save for the future.
