Updates to the Morningstar web experience
We’re excited to inform you about recent updates to the Morningstar funds reporting experience on the plan sponsor and plan member sites.
What’s changing for you?
The Morningstar experience for sponsors, advisors and consultants is getting a new look and feel with a revamped web user interface. The new interface is more simple and easier to use and navigate. With the new functionality users can view and compare funds more dynamically. They can also export fund information into Excel to use as they need.
The Morningstar Fund Information report has been refreshed. It’s more dynamic, contains additional data points and features new ways to measure fund performance.
How to get to the page?
Once you logged in the secure site, you can access the Morningstar page in a few easy steps:
- Click Group Retirement Services under “Administration and reporting”.
- Select Morningstar from the “Quick Links” or under the “Investments” tab in the menu.
What’s changing for plan members?
The “View available investments” page has been transformed to reflect the new Morningstar experience. There are two tabs:
- First tab “Investments by product and date” - with Investments the member can select based on the products available in their plan. When they select a specific fund they will see the updated Morningstar Fund Information report with the most up-to-date information on the fund. Members will also be able to view the Fund Fact Sheet within the Morningstar Fund Information report.
- The second tab “All investments” - with the summary of all funds the member invests in. Selecting specific funds will also trigger updated Morningstar experience.
Plan members will be informed of the changes via the Message Centre.
