RRSP season is fast approaching – here’s what we’re doing to engage your plan members
The 2024 RRSP season is fast-approaching! Sun Life is once again preparing to encourage your plan members to contribute to their Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP). An RRSP is one of the best ways for members to grow their contributions tax-free and to save for retirement. Members will have until the February 29, 2024 deadline to make a contribution towards the 2023 tax year.
What’s coming?
Between January 18 and February 29, 2024, members will be encouraged to make a one-time RRSP contribution to their workplace retirement savings plan.
Members will receive an email* from Sun Life on or soon after January 22, 2024. This email will include a direct link to the MAX Review tool. By using the MAX Review tool, members review their investment choices and beneficiary information, and make a contribution.

Extended hours for the Client Care Centre (CCC)
During this peak season, the CCC will be open every Saturday in February:
- February 3, 2024, from 9-5 p.m. ET
- February 10, 2024, from 9-5 p.m. ET
- February 17, 2024, from 9-5 p.m. ET
- February 24, 2024, from 9-5 p.m. ET
