Retirement Readiness reports: take action by May 31, 2026

Our retirement readiness reports provide important insights into plan members’ projected retirement outcomes. Reporting is available for no additional charge to all plan sponsors who provide Sun Life with plan member salary information. 

What’s included in the report

These comprehensive reports help plan sponsors understand how retirement ready plan members are by providing:

  • Information on how plan members are tracking to their retirement goals and at what age they are expected to reach their goals.
  • Segmented data for deeper analysis; including age, salary, years of service and those with and without a Sun Life One Plan™.
  • Benchmarking against “all plans eligible to receive the report” for comparative analysis.
  • Actionable insights to improve plan member outcomes.
  • Year-over-year comparisons.

Our reports are designed to support your CAPSA Guideline 3 responsibilities by helping you assess whether projected plan member outcomes align with intended outcomes. They also allow you to make informed decisions about plan design, demonstrate your commitment to employee financial wellness and support your workforce management goals.

New to Retirement Readiness reports?

Provide salary information before May 31, to receive your first report in Q3. Salary information can easily be uploaded by using the Upload a salary feature on the Plan Sponsor Services site or include salary data in your demographic file.

Already receive Retirement Readiness reports?

Ensure all salary updates are submitted by May 31, to receive this year’s report with the most up to date information.
