New! E-Beneficiary feature in the my Sun Life mobile app

Sun Life continues to make improvements to the mobile app to provide plan members with a simplified and convenient experience. We’re excited to announce that starting in August, e-beneficiary feature is available in the my Sun Life mobile app to the majority of Sun Life Clients. This means that plan members can now manage their beneficiaries anytime, anywhere from their mobile devices.

What can members do with the e-beneficiary feature in the mobile app?

The e-beneficiary feature on the mobile has all the same capabilities as on the web (mysunlife.ca). Plan members are able to*:

• Name a beneficiary for the first time.
• Make changes to the already assigned beneficiaries.
• View the list of their beneficiaries, status (revocable or non-revocable) and relationships.
• See messages (restrictions, helpful information, action items).
