Introducing Retirement Readiness Reports for Plan Sponsors
We’re excited to introduce our new retirement readiness reports that provide important insights into plan members’ retirement readiness.
Based on our Sun Life One Plan™ data, these new, comprehensive retirement readiness reports offer:
- Information on how plan members are tracking to their retirement goals and at what age they are expected to reach their goals.
- Segmented data for deeper analysis; including age, salary, tenure and those who have created a One Plan™ versus those who haven’t.
- Benchmarking against “all plans eligible to receive the report” for comparative analysis.
- Actionable insights to improve plan member outcomes.
- Year-over-year comparisons (starting in 2026).
Our new reports are designed to help you assess whether projected plan member outcomes align with intended outcomes, as required by CAPSA Guideline 3. They also identify specific actions to enhance plan member retirement readiness. This data will allow you to make informed decisions that will have a positive impact on plan member outcomes.
How to access Retirement Readiness reports
Reporting is available for no additional charge to all plan sponsors who provide Sun Life with plan member salary information. If you provided salary information before May 31, 2025, your report is ready, and your Sun Life Group Retirement Representative can provide it to you. If you don’t provide plan member salary information today, consider providing this information before May 31, 2026 so that you are eligible for next year’s report. Salary information can easily be uploaded through the ‘Upload a salary’ function on the plan sponsor secure site or by including salary data in your demographic file.
The reports will be generated annually in Q3. Your Sun Life Group Retirement Representative will share the report with you.
