The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is promoting its second annual Pension Awareness Day on February 15.

Pension Awareness Day is held on the third Thursday of every February. The overarching theme this year will be the value of a pension.

The goals for this year’s campaign are to:

• Encourage plan members to engage with their employers or unions to learn more about pension benefits.
• Encourage employers or unions to educate their employees about their pensions and life-long benefits they offer.
• Spark interest among young people to think about saving and investing as early as possible.

You can also help spread the word with your employees about Pension Awareness Day by sharing the FSRA’s website.
