E-beneficiary Campaign is here!

In May, we’ll run a digital beneficiary campaign encouraging eligible plan members who have access to the online tool to add a beneficiary for eligible products. This online tool eliminates the need for paper forms, making the process faster and easier for plan members.

As part of this campaign, we’ll send eligible plan members an email:

• if they have at least one product where there is no named beneficiary asking them to name a beneficiary, or
• asking them to review beneficiaries already named on their products.

Active alert tiles will also appear on the mysunlife.ca homepage reminding eligible plan members to name a beneficiary and directing them to their Personal Information page. 

New this year

• The Active alert tile will remain always-on, periodically reminding these plan members without a beneficiary until they complete the designation.
• Quebec-based plan members with only Sun Life Financial Trust-issued policies will be excluded from this campaign, as beneficiary designation isn’t available to them.
