E-beneficiary Campaign: encouraging members to add or review a beneficiary through our easy online tool

This May, we’re launching a digital beneficiary campaign. This campaign will encourage plan members who have access to the online GRS beneficiary tool to review, update, or add a beneficiary for eligible products. This online tool helps reduce the need for paper forms, making the process faster and easier for plan members.

What will members receive as part of this campaign?

  • An email. There will be 2 versions:
    1. “Missing beneficiary”: for members who have at least 1 product with no beneficiary named.
    2. “Review beneficiary”: for members who have already named beneficiaries for all eligible products under their plan and are encouraged to review the information online to make sure it’s up to date.
  • Interstitial message and Active alert tile on the mysunlife.ca home page. These messages will remind members to name, review or update a beneficiary.
