We’re introducing a new, more flexible way to help plan members maximize their savings potential and achieve greater financial security. Starting April 8, 2025, plan members will have exclusive access to additional savings products through Sun Life Choices Flex.

About Sun Life Choices Flex

Sun Life Choices Flex offers plan members access to additional savings products if your workplace plan doesn’t already offer them. These include a Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA), Non-registered Savings Plan (NREG), and Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP). For example, if your workplace plan offers a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP) and RRSP, plan members in that plan who enrol in Choices Flex will only be able to access the Choices Flex TFSA and NREG products.

With Choices Flex, plan members get:

  • A full suite of savings products between a workplace plan and Choices Flex (RRSP, TFSA, and NREG).
  • Plan members have the option to save through recurring or one-time lump-sum contributions, and asset consolidation.
  • Competitive fees and diverse investment options.
  • A seamless experience when moving from Choices Flex to Group Choices, if they retire or leave their workplace plan.
  • Ability to manage all their assets in one place.
  • Access to Sun Life One Plan, 360 Plan Advice, and financial education campaigns.
  • The opportunity to strengthen their financial wellness and resiliency.
