Whole life insurance rates

At Sun Life, we offer two non-participating whole life insurance products: SunSpectrum Permanent Life II and Sun Life Go Guaranteed Life Insurance. 

The charts indicate rates that may apply to you – based on your age, health, assigned sex at birth  and smoking status – if you purchase one of these products.

The following rates listed below apply as of November 16, 2025 and are subject to change.

Rates for SunSpectrum Permanent Life II

SunSpectrum Permanent Life II is a lifelong insurance policy offering coverage up to $25 million for one or two people. It provides permanent protection with a cash value component. When applying for this product, you’ll need to provide some medical information.

Sun Life Go Guaranteed Life Insurance offers lifelong coverage for one person, with no medical questions asked and guaranteed qualification regardless of existing health conditions. This policy provides up to $25,000 in coverage, making it an accessible option for those who may have difficulty obtaining traditional life insurance due to health issues. See product details

Rates for this product may be higher because – in some cases, depending on your age and health –  medical tests aren’t required. Remember, the less an insurance company asks about your health, the greater your premiums.
