Sun Life ranks #1 in Forrester’s November 2016 Canadian Life Insurance Digital Sales Functionality Benchmark
In the first Canadian life insurance digital sales functionality benchmark by influential, research and advisory firm Forrester Research, Sun Life proudly took the top spot. Our score of 75/100 outperformed the industry average score of 47/100, thanks to our ability to support the needs of both Clients who prefer to buy online and Clients who prefer to work with an advisor.
Forrester rated Sunlife.ca’s Life insurance experience using 35 criteria on desktop, tablet and mobile, and categorized the results in 3 stages: discover, explore and buy. We achieved a near-perfect score at the discover stage, where we help Clients think through their life insurance needs, and we earned the top score for our ability to simplify the sales process.
Sun Life Financial Quebec received the Mercure award in the Proactive Workforce Management category at the 2015 Mercuriades gala presented by the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec. This honour recognizes the work of our entire team and the quality of talent in our organization.

Sun Life won the prestigious gold award in the category of arts and culture for our partnership with the Sarah McLachlan School of Music (SoM). The Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada (SMCC) awards salute the best in the industry, acknowledging Canadian companies that step outside the box and help redefine sponsorship marketing in Canada.
In 2014, Sun Life announced a 3-year, $300,000 partnership with the SoM in Vancouver, a school dedicated to providing at-risk and underserved youth with free music education.
