Members can visit any oral health provider as long as the provider can accept CDCP clients, agrees to bill and can receive payment directly from Sun Life for CDCP services. Provider participation remains voluntary.
Members can use the Provider Search Tool to find a participating oral health provider in their community. Members can search by name, speciality and location. Not all providers participating in the CDCP are listed in the search tool.
When booking an appointment with an oral health provider or discussing care options, always:
Never pay the full amount for CDCP services. Your oral health provider will submit the CDCP claim on your behalf. It’s not possible for Sun Life to pay you back directly. You’re only responsible for paying the oral health provider a co-payment (if any) and any other outstanding amounts that aren’t covered by the plan.
