Register as a practice if you are:

  • The owner of a health-care practice and manage all the payments of the health-care practitioners working at your business.
  • An independent health-care provider who operates their own business. This applies even if you have no employees, as long as payments are made to your business rather than to you as an individual.

Register as an independent health-care provider if you are:

  • An individual health-care practitioner who does not work for any health-care business or practice.

Note: Individual health-care practitioners who work out of a health-care organization, business or practice should first check with their employer before registering independent of their practice.

The Sun Life Connect portal offers:

  • eClaims for certain specialties
  • Profiles on Provider Search (available for practices only)
  • Virtual care
  • Practice management with online booking

For added security, we’ve added two-step verification for all SLC accounts. Visit SLC’s two-step verification page for more information and frequently asked questions.

If you offer both vision and paramedical specialties, you’ll have to register separate accounts for these two services.

The admin of the facility account will be the one receiving the password reset email. Please contact the admin of the account to reset the password.

If you continue to have issues receiving a password reset email link, please email provider.search@sunlife.com. Please include your username in the email and the team will send you a link to reset your password. 

When making any change to your facility account or a profile you must press publish on both the profile page and facility page.

Also, some updates may need validation and may not reflect right away.

If you offer your services out of more than one location, you’ll need to register a separate account for each location.

If you are interested in Provider Search features at multiple locations, please contact us at 1-888-619-8835.

You can add eligible health-care providers to your account by clicking on manage under Manage providers on the homepage or hovering over Providers from the top menu and clicking on Manage providers.

If you offer services out of more than one business location, you’ll need to register a separate account for each location.

If any of your locations are run by a health-care practice, check with them first. They may need to register their location as a Practice.
