In July, Invesco Canada (Invesco) has announced changes to the names of several of their funds. As a result, effective July 31, 2018, the Sun Life Financial segregated fund names were updated to reflect the new underlying fund names. The name change affects the following segregated funds (the Funds) available on our Core investment platform:

Rationale for the changes
Invesco has decided to consolidate its various brands – Trimark, Perpetual, Powershares – under the single brand Invesco. There will be no changes to any of the Funds’ strategies, investment objectives or investment teams as a result of this name change.
How does this impact you and your plan members?
There is no impact to plan sponsors or plan members and no action required as a result of this change. Plan members invested in the Funds will see the name changes reflected on their accounts as of July 31, 2018. We will also communicate this change to plan members through Morningstar.
