We are focused on continually improving our digital capabilities to make it easier for your clients to manage their plans.

Currently plan members need to make separate paperless elections for each of their Sun Life accounts. Coming soon, they will be able to choose to go paperless across all of their accounts through the paperless widget, located under the top right utility navigation on the mysunlife.ca home page.

When logging into mysunlife.ca, plan members will be encouraged to make a paper or paperless election. This preference will be applied to all of their existing accounts, and applied forward to new Sun Life accounts, helping ensure we are communicating with them using their channel of choice.

If plan members choose the “paper” option, they will be prompted by this reminder every 6 months. Depending on the terms of the plan or product, they may still continue to receive some documents by mail.
