Digital innovation has become essential to providing a better end-to-end plan member experience. That’s why we’re constantly working on improving our digital tools and services, including our mobile app. To enhance members’ mobile experience, we’re upgrading the my Sun Life mobile app with several new features that were previously available only on the website. The following functionalities will be available to plan members via the mobile app:

Tax slips issued after December 5, 2021, are now available for members to view and download.

Members can now enrol in Group Retirement Services products in just a few simple steps – whenever and wherever they want – through the mobile app.

Note: Enrol notification emails will be updated in Q2 2022 to reflect that mobile is an option.

Payroll contributions

Members can now make and/or change their payroll contributions through the mobile app.

For Clients that are using the latest enhanced version of the full Payroll contributions page

Mid-December

The options available to members will vary depend on how the plan is set up.

We’ll send targeted plan sponsor communications based on the availability of the features as indicated in the table above.
