We are excited to announce the launch of our new digital Asset Consolidation tool, Transfer products to Sun Life (formerly known as Consolidate your Savings). Select Clients have been determined and will be participating in the second wave of our roll-out, beginning October 5, 2021.

We’ve created a digital experience to help support members moving their assets from another institution into their group plan. This will improve our current process by significantly reducing the need for paper-based forms for our five most commonly used products.

By reducing paper and launching this new digital tool, we will improve completion times for members. The automated process will prevent a member from providing incorrect information (i.e. wrong product mapping, wrong institution information, no investment instructions). This will help to reduce the errors that cause delays in the consolidation being processed.

Members can find the new tool under the “Requests” > “Transfer products to Sun Life” tab in their mysunlife.ca account.  Members will also receive an email as well as Ella messaging informing them of this new tool as part of the roll-out.
