Registration and sign-in email campaigns have been nudging plan members to go digital since 2019. The purpose of these campaigns is to develop digital behaviours early, and to encourage the use of online features. Plan members make the choice to go online and use the tools and features exclusively available to them.

The registration and sign-in emails have performed beyond expectations. They have successfully driven many plan members to register for mysunlife.ca and the my Sun Life mobile app. Currently, new members from a select group of plan sponsors are getting the emails. We’re expanding the target audience to all new plan members. This expansion will start by the end of May 2021.
