What’s Two-Step Verification? 

It’s a security measure to protect your employees’ data.

How does it work? 

We verify your employees at web sign-in. Your employees will be able to:

  • provide several phone numbers,
  • choose the preferred phone number when we verify them,
  • choose between voice or text message, and
  • determine how often they would like us to confirm their identity. We can do this on every sign-in, or only when Sun Life needs it.

If we need to confirm your employees’ identity, we’ll text or call them with a one-time security code.
