From paperless to online payments, here are the latest enhancements on sunlife.ca and the my Sun Life mobile app.
Choosing paper documents and online claims
We’ve been listening to Client and advisor feedback! On sunlife.ca and the mobile app, when Clients choose the paper preference for their Sun Life documents, they’ll no longer see a message stating they must send all their claims by mail if they have benefits with Sun Life. Clients have the option of submitting online claims even if they’ve chosen to receive paper documents (e.g. statements).
Setting up online payments
We’re making it easier for Clients to make payments online. Clients with insurance products (except Personal Health Insurance, Health Coverage Choice and Insurance GICs) can set up online payments through their financial institution. A new link on the secure sunlife.ca site now provides them with step-by-step instructions on how to add Sun Life as a payee. This feature is coming soon to the my Sun Life mobile app.
