Your plan members need to start a Group Critical Illness Insurance claim? Here’s how.

We’ve recently found that some plan members with voluntary benefits have had challenges initiating critical illness insurance claims. To help plan members get prompt service during a potentially stressful time, here’s a reminder of the best way to get their claim started.

Plan members should call the Client Solutions Centre (CSC) at 1-866-539-7678 and advise Sun Life that they wish to begin a critical illness insurance claim.  With just a few questions about their plan and the nature of the condition, CSC representatives will direct the member’s information to our claims team, who will in turn provide the member with claim forms specific to their condition.
