Check a balance

Accounts set up through your advisor

You can view some of your account balances online by signing into mysunlife.ca. Not registered yet? Take a few minutes to register now.

If you’ve purchased mutual fund accounts or segregated fund contracts through a Sun Life Financial advisor, you can also view them on the my Sun Life Mobile app. Go to sunlife.ca/mobile to download the app.

You can also contact your advisor directly for your account balances. If you need your advisor’s contact information, go to find an advisor and enter your advisor’s last name.

If you need help, you can also call the Customer Care Centre at 1-877-SUN-LIFE (1-877-786-5433), Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm ET.

Accounts set up through your employer

To check your balance:

  1. Sign in to mysunlife.ca.
  2. Select my financial centre.
  3. Under Quick links click Balances.

Not registered online yet? Take a few minutes to register now. You can also call the Customer Care Centre at 1-866-733-8612, Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm ET.

Remember to have your my Sun Life Sign-in/Access ID and password ready to enter into our automated telephone system.

To check your balance:

  1. Sign in to mysunlife.ca.
  2. Select my financial centre.
  3. Under Quick links click Balances.
