Banking information updates

For policies or accounts obtained through your advisor

Contact your advisor directly. If you need your advisor's contact information, go to Find an advisor and enter your advisor's last name.

You can also call the Customer Care Centre at 1-877-SUN-LIFE (1-877-786-5433), Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm ET.

For coverage or accounts obtained through your employer

To update your banking or credit card information for your investment plans, call the Customer Care Centre at 1-866-733-8612, Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm ET.

You can update your banking information for your group benefits plan online:

  1. Sign in to mysunlife.ca.
  2. Click my coverage.
  3. Under Take me to ... click Direct deposit.
  4. Under Review your banking information, click Update and enter your updated banking information.

Not registered online yet? Take a few minutes to register now. You can also call the Customer Care Centre at 1-800-361-6212, Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm ET. Please have your coverage card ready.

For a policy or account purchased online or by phone

For banking or credit card updates, please complete a new   payment authorization form along with a void cheque.

You can submit all banking forms by fax: 1-800-367-0813 or via email: servicecsc@sunlife.com.

You can also contact the Client Solutions Centre at 1-800-669-7921 to update this information, any time between 8:30 am to 5 pm ET, Monday to Friday.

For a policy or account purchased through a Choices plan

You may be able to update your personal information online:

  1. Sign in to mysunlife.ca.
  2. Select Personal Info from the Profile section.
