Sun Life is pleased to announce that we have entered into an arrangement with TELUS to make the claims and reimbursement process for your plan members direct and convenient. Physiotherapists, chiropractors and vision care specialists will now be able to submit plan members’ claims quickly and efficiently through a website or portal created and managed by TELUS Health Solutions.

What this means

This new service helps to address your requests for easier, faster and more convenient paperless options.  This service provider claims submission process will allow your Sun Life group benefits plan members to submit their claims electronically, right from their healthcare provider’s office.

This electronic choice also means that plan members will receive their benefits payments faster, as they can now be processed real-time. Sun Life’s enhanced web based controls will help protect your plan from the risk of fraud. In addition, our PlanProtect fraud technology continuously monitors electronic claims using advanced analytics such as data mining and profiling capabilities that detect unusual claiming patterns. Suspicious patterns are then flagged for review by Sun Life’s skilled team of fraud experts.
