I graduated from university in 1990 and immediately entered the investment and insurance business. Since that time I have earned my Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations. I live in Waterloo with my wife and 4 children.

Whether you are at the beginning of your saving career or nearing retirement, my team and I can help you achieve your goals. Savings products such as RRSPs are key components of any financial picture, however, that may only be a small piece of the puzzle. My team and I have developed extensive experience in financial and insurance-related products and services that can help you achieve financial security.

We provide our extensive knowledge and services to families and small-business owners throughout southern Ontario, with a particular focus on Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph.

As part of Sun Life Financial's team since 1985, I have been helping clients achieve lifetime financial security. As part of the Izzio team, I specialize in working with individuals who are within 10 years of retirement, outlining the unique opportunities and challenges they face at this exciting time in their lives. Part of my commitment to serving clients has been investing in my own skills and knowledge. As a result, I committed to attaining my Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C), and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations over the years.

Waterloo Region has been my home for over thirty years, and together with my wife Kathy, we have been proud to raise our two children in this vibrant community. I originally came to the region to attend Wilfrid Laurier University, and my connection to the university continues today. As a part-time lecturer in the School of Business and Economics, I teach a financial planning course focusing on life and health insurance. When not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, travel, gardening, birding and photography.

Blaine works with clients to help them achieve their goals through comprehensive financial solutions, specializing in life insurance, investments, retirement and estate planning. Blaine lives in Kitchener with his wife Susan and has recently become a grandfather.
