About Laurie, Kenna & Associates Financial Services Ltd.

Laurie Kenna & Associates Financial Services Inc. was established in March of 2001 by Gordon Laurie and Darryl Kenna, to ensure clients could address their multigenerational needs. From inception, our team of specialized advisors and exceptional support staff, continued to grow to ensure our clients could expect and receive the highest quality of service from the team.

In 2004, we welcomed Cam Slomp to provide specialization in critical illness, disability and life insurance.
Throughout 2005 and 2006, we further expansed with the additions of Don Groves and James Nilsson.
2007 brought further development with the arrival of Alastair Maclean, Mark Nicholson and Scott Walls, as well as Michel Collings in our Blairmore office.
In 2009, we welcomed the next younger generation of advisors with the additional of Blake Corey in 2010.
Most recently, in 2011 we are happy to introduce Stacey Lutz as our newest Financial Advisor.

Cam Slomp*, BA

Cam joined our firm in 2004 from the agricultural sector. After completing university he played a number of years semi-professional basketball in Holland. Cam is very passionate about his career, and shoulders that passion with the ever-present responsibility to our clients providing sound advice and quality service.

Mark Nicholson*

Mark, a born and bred Lethbridgearian, came to our firm in 2006 after numerous years of success in management in the retail sector, both in Alberta and Ontario. While the newest of our senior producers, his contribution to the long term direction and molding of the firm has proved to be invaluable.

Darryl Kenna*, CFP, CLU, EPC

Darryl, a founding partner, was born and raised in Lethbridge and specializes in asset management. Sun Life Financial has recently recognized his specialization by including him on the wealth platform advisory group. We are honored that a member of our team will be contributing to the direction in which asset development will occur within Sun Life Financial.
