Community involvementGodbolt, Ciufo Insurance & Financial Services, Exeter, received an award from Sun Life Financial for long-term business excellence in our community; part of the honour was the ability to choose the recipients of $6,000 in donations from Sun Life. We chose to donate $2,000 each to: Grand Bend Home & School Association (for the new playground equipment at GB Public School); the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority Foundation; South Huron Big Brothers, Big Sisters.

Our partners and staff contribute in various ways to local organizations: serving on boards, volunteering as members of service clubs, and supporting fundraising initiatives. As a corporation we provided financial support to the South Huron Hospital Foundation for a major refurbishment of South Huron Hospital in Exeter. The owners of Godbolt, Ciufo Insurance & Financial Services and their families present a donation of $20,000 to Stephanie Donaldson (far left) of the South Huron Hospital Foundation.
Godbolt, Ciufo Insurance and Financial Services of Exeter recently donated to the Grand Bend Beach Enhancement Project (GBBEP), which has resulted in $3.5 million in upgrades to the Grand Bend waterfront. Pictured here in the above left photo are GBBEP co-chairs Jim Southcott and Jim Jean receiving a cheque for $2,500 from George Godbolt (second from left) and Paul Ciufo (second from right). Paul Ciufo is a past president of the Rotary Club of Grand Bend, a past president of the Grand Bend & Area Chamber of Commerce, and served on the board of the South Huron Chamber of Commerce. Fred Godbolt is Treasurer of the Exeter Business Association and is a supporter of Big Brothers, Big Sisters South Huron. George Godbolt is a long standing member of the Exeter Lions Club, and is well-known for his dedication to the annual art auction fundraiser for the Lions/Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority.
